This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. By using this website or sharing your information with us, you agree to this policy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers personal data we process when you visit our website; fill in our contact or job application forms; or otherwise communicate with us. We do not take payments on this website.

3. Information we collect

• Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, city, state, country and postal address; CVs, cover letters and other documents you upload; and the content of your messages.
• Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 10).
• Information from others: information you choose to make public (for example, a LinkedIn profile you link in an application) or that a referrer shares with your permission.

4. Why we use your information

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, or for legitimate uses permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, in order to:

• respond to your enquiries and provide the services you ask for;
• review job applications and contact you about them;

5. Consent and withdrawal

Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by writing to info@safinaventures.in. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. We may be unable to continue some services (for example, reviewing an application) without the required information.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with:

• service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, form and workspace (Notion) providers, under obligations to protect it;
• entities within our ecosystem, only where required to deliver a service you requested;
• government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities, where required by law; and
• a successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition or restructuring, subject to this policy.

7. Where your data is stored

Your data may be stored or processed on servers located in or outside India by our service providers, in line with applicable Indian law.

8. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Contact-form messages are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange. Job application data is kept for up to 12 months after a decision, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Records we must keep by law are kept for the period the law requires.

9. How we protect it

We use reasonable security practices and procedures, as required under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. These include access controls, encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a personal data breach where the law requires.

We use only cookies that are necessary for the website to work. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies; if we add them, we will update this section first. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, 2023, you may: request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed; ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it; withdraw consent; nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and raise a complaint with us. 12. Children

Our website and services are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly process a child’s personal data without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian.
